2011-07-15 Here is a new video with Branden Ray 4 weeks before his first competition this year, the Jacksonville Pro. As you can also see, his back looks much better than before and his condition is also great so he has a great chance for winning! | 2011-07-14 Evan Centopani became a father as his daughter was born on the 13. July, with 3,5 kgs. That is the reason why Evan won't debut this year at the Mr. Olympia, but next year we will surely see him on stage. |
2011-06-22 The spring season of IFBB pros continues in Tampa with the PBW Championships and with a real serious list of competitors. Hidetada Yamagishi is the biggest name among the pros here, but because of his serious injuries it is possible that he won't have a 100% shape. | 2011-06-04 Fouad Abiad unfortunately got an injury so it seems that he won't have any more competitions in the rest of the year. He had a great season opening with the Flex Pro, where he could qualify for the Mr. Olympia Show, but when he started preparing for the autumn season, he discovered a partial tear in his triceps. So now it's time to take a longer rest for the recovery. |
2011-06-04 Lionel Beyeke is the newest sponsored talent of the Weider Team. Linole could get the qualification for the Mr. Olympia in New York with a 4th place. It can happen that he will be later the new favorite of Mr. Olympia and as he is only 30 years old, he has much time to prove. | 2011-06-03 Jose Raymond won not only the champion title of New York Pro but also a huge sponsorship contract with Muscular Development team. So the financial problems are hopefully solved with this. |
2011-06-01 Evan Centopani has decided to skip the Mr. Olympia. Last year he made the same decision altough he got the qualification. Last year the reason was that he wanted to gain more weight to step on stage in the spring season with a greater and bigger physique. It was successful, but this year he has other reasons: he soon will be a father of a baby and he is in the middle of building his house so it is time for a break. | 2011-06-01 Roelly Winklaar is in hospital and will soon have a surgery. Roelly had a great debut last year as a professional and could get even the qualification for the Mr. Olympia where he could have been a real favorite if he doesn't have a bad timing. He could qualify this year as well but he won't participate as he has some problems with his jaw which will be operated soon. He and his trainer decided that he skips this Mr. Olympia and next time he prepares for a competition not too long before the Olympia to get the qualification and to avoid the stress of preparing two times. |
2011-05-29 Kai Greene has won the New York Pro for the second time without any serious opponent. Kai had a really great shape and a really good condition with which he can have a great chance to win even the Mr. Olympia title. The results:

| 2011-05-25 The New York Pro seems to be one of the best shows of the year according to the list of competitors.
Kai Greene has announced already in March to participate the New York Pro and it will be really hard to get the champion title from him this weekend. The 'Predator' who has really good chances at the Mr Olympia as well is in an extremely good condition.
We shouldn't forget about Ronny Rockel as well who has last year defeated 'the Predator' but it happened because of the bad timing of Kai Greene.
Roelly Winklaar participates as a defending champion but it seems to be a hard for him even to step up on the podium.
Cedric McMillan has won his first professional champion title at the Europa Show of Champions one month ago but his mass is not enough for this fight.
In the category of 'under 202 pounds' the greatest fight seems to be between Jose Raymond and James 'Flex' Lewis.

2011-05-23 Scitec Nutrition Kriz Open hungarian version | 2011-05-19 Kai Greene did his last leg training before the New York Pro. His training mate was Desmond Miller. Kai worked with huge weights even now, 10 days before the contest. So he takes it serious although there won't be anybody who could compete with him for the 1st place. |
2011-05-18 It is still not sure if Ronnie Coleman will compete again this year but the bodybuilder is not bored at all. Now he is working on an own nutrition supplement brand. Though looking at his physique it is possible that we will see him on stage at the IFBB Pro World Masters Championship. | 2011-05-17 Stan Efferding is the Strongest Bodybuilder in the World and made a New World Record! Although he could never get a Mr Olympia qualification, Stan is one of the professional bodybuilders and a power lifter as well. Last time he moved altogether 1009 kgs, which is a World Record at the SPF Federation. In squat he did 387kg, for bench press he put on 285 kg and with deadlift he moved 387 kgs. He said: "I think I'm gonna feel stiff. I feel like I had a car accident..." |
2011-05-16 James 'Flex' Lewis has been the guest poser at the NPC Muscle Mayhem Championships. James has already got the licence for the Mr. Olympia, so it is hard to understand why he participates the New York Pro. It is not easy to keep the peak form through 2 months but he wants to fight for the champion title with Jose Raymond.Check out the guest posing here> | 2011-05-16 Will David Henry stop bodybuilding for MMA? Henry was very successful in bodybuilding in the last years but he earns money as a soldier and he had to leave out a whole year of bodybuilding. This year he started dealing with other sportarts like MMA, so it is a question if he will ever get back to bodybuilding. |
2011-05-15 From this year on we are going to see a brand new category in stage of IFBB contest: the category of wheelchair racers. This is not the first contest for them but the first occasion to get the Professional card. | 2011-05-14 According to the latest rumours, Phil Heath will leave the Weider/AMI Team to follow his mentor and friend, Jay Cutler and contracts with Muscular Development. The question is what will be the answer of the Weider Team as in this case they will have only one big name: Kai Greene. Will they look for a new talent maybe? |
2011-05-11 The IFBB has changed the rules of 202 pounds category. The weight limit will be 212 pounds after the Mr. Olympia. It can easily happen that some smaller but serious competitors, like Hidetada Yamagishi will rather lose weight to get in this category than to compete with the hugest ones. | 2011-05-10 Arnold Schwarzenegger and his wife, Maria Shriver have broken after being married for 25 years. They don't want to get divorced but decided to live separately to think over their relationship. |
2011-05-10 Jay Cutler has announced to participate the Asian Grand Prix after the Mr. Olympia Weekend. It happened in 2006 last time that Jay participated more than 1 competition and this time he chose the Asian Grand Prix where he will have great opponents like Kai Greene, Phil Heath or Branch Warren. Behind this decision there can be two reasons:One is that he is totally sure to win these competitions and the other is that he is planning to retire after this season and as a "cool down" he wants to feel the mood of smaller competitions for the last time. We will see... | 2011-05-08 The usual annual star parade, the NPC Pittsburgh Championship was organized with the participation of Jay Cutler, Phil Heath, Kai Greene, Dexter Jackson, Dennis Wolf, Branch Warren és Toney Freeman. The Show could have been even the final of the Mr. Olympia, looking at the contestants, though they all were in the middle of their off season. Except for Kai Greene who showed a really great shape, so it seems that he found a good trainer in the person of George Farah.
You can watch the videos here:

2011-05-03 Milos Sarcev is in jail again. Milos's life is not perfect at all in the recent period as accused for robbing his own gym and beating his sister-in-law. Earlier he was set free but probably only because he put down the deposit and not because he was innocent. It is likely that he was found guilty in the earlier crimes. | 2011-05-02 Phil Heath had a guest posing in Slovakia. He has 5 months until his next championship, the Mr. Olympia show and he has a really great physique. Although he increased his muscle mass, his legendary shape stayed intact. So he will had a good chance to break Jay Cutler's domination. Watch the video here |
2011-04-30 Cedric McMillan has won his second professional championship, the Europa Show of Champions. Although he was not in his best shape and he couldn't increase his muscle mass since last year, but it was enough for the win. Marcus Hailey was surely disappointed with his silver medal as he went there to win. The lean muscle mass was the best for Evgeny Mishin who was third this time, so it seems that the judge valued the structural facilities.
The results:
1. Cedric McMillan
2. Marcus Haley
3. Evgeny Mishin
4. Michael Liberatore
5. Lee Banks
6. Khalid Almohsinawi
7. Robert Piotrkowicz

2011-04-13 Next station of the spring season is FIBO Power Pro Champions. This is the first occasion for Ronny Rockel to stand on stage in his home country as a professional. And he also has the biggest chance for winning, looking at his results this season. Though there are serious competitiors who can be dangerous. Roelly Winklaar and Johnny Jackson are also in a good physique and there are more others who are longing for the Mr. Olympia qualification like Essa Obaid and Toney Freeman.

| 2011-04-11 Vince Taylor will be there at the FIBO this weekend. There is no official information if he will be only a guest or will compete. |
2011-04-11 One week before the FIBO 2011, Alexey Lesukov has won Top de Colmar in France. This was the first time for him to compete in heavy weight. This weekend you can see his top form at the FIBO Peak stand. Video | 2011-04-04 Dexter Jackson and Melvin Anthony have been seen to train together in the Venice Gold's Gym. Melvin haven't competed for more than one year as without any sponsor he couldn't afford himself to prepare for the Mr. Olympia, though after an unsuccessful season he won the season opening Phoenix Pro. According to the latest news it is possible that Dexter will soon follow him. The 2008 Mr. Olympia seems to be fired by his sponsor as well and this means 300.000 $ fewer in the cassa. None of them has commented these thoughts yet.

2011-04-03 New training video with Roelly Winklaar. Unfortunately we cannot really see his physique but hopefully he will show a shape in two weeks at FIBO Power to win the champion title. For this he has to fight with Ronny Rockel and Johnnie Jackson. Watch the video here | 2011-03-27 Silvio Samuel's return is shifted a bit and we got some news regarding his illness. According to our information the last summer health problem was not a simply illness which was mistreated. However, recently it was found that the real cause was poisoning, and Silvio merely said that the person was someone very close to him. The police have been working on it, so certainly in the near future, further details will be disclosed. The champion would have liked to start the 2011 season at the Australian Grand Prix, but in the meantime has decided to prepare for the New York Pro instead. - which is not surprising, since he only began training again in January together with his trainer, Charles Glass Nations. |
2011-03-26 Kai Greene extended his contract with Weider Publications! Since his contract kai participated only at Mr. Olympia, where he was 7th, which is not a great result and what a sponsor and fans expect from one of the best competitors. Despite this, the "Predator" is still considered to be among the largest and most experts are really sure that this year he will be much better.
Allan Donnelly "Kai Greene belongs to the elite athletes in the IFBB and belongs to who - when the form is o.k. - is able to win any race, including the Mr. Olympia as well. We all know that he was disappointed after last year's Olympia, but we are sure that he will dominate the New York Pro again"
| 2011-03-26 Ronny Rockel has successfully defended his title at the Mr Europe Pro. His physique was almost perfect on stage, but had a really close fight against Roelly Winklaar. They will have one more great fight at the FIBO Power, we will see how they could keep their shape. James Flex Lewis was a huge surprise, he showed that a great physique can mean more than the huge mass.

| 2011-03-20 Sami Al Haddad won the first amateur Mr Olympia championship this weekend. The competition was organized on one weekend with the British Grand Prix. Sami with this title won the right for a professional card. So it is possible that we will soon see him on stage among the best professionals under 202 category. |
2011-03-20 Branch Warren has won the British Grand Prix without any serious opponent. So with this 2nd champion title in the spring season he can start a hopefully really succesful preparation for the Mr. Olympia in the automn season.
Roelly Winklaar can be happy with his second place, who improved a lot since the Arnold Classic and could show a really dry physique.
Johnnie Jackson is the third, who unfortunately cannot really fight for the champion title because his legs are lack of enough mass.
Ronny Rockel was the negative surprise of the night, he could only be fourth before Michael Kefalianos and Toney Freeman.
James "Flex" Lewis won the 202 category without a serious opponent just like Branch and with the best shape of his life.

| 2011-03-16 Only hours and the British Grand Prix is starting. As Branch Warren won't have any serious opponent, it is almost guaranteed that he will win the competition. 2011-03-12 Dennis Wolf didn't cause any disappointment this time for his fans. He won. And not only the first place but also the special prize for the best poser. So he got a new motivation for trying to defeat the Arnold Classic Champion Branch Warren at the Brit GP next week.
The second place belongs to Johnnie Jackson who couldn't defeat Dennis because of his thigh but he got the Mr. Olympia qualification.
Mike Kefalios, the Australian favorite could be the third, so we will also see him in Las Vegas at the Mr. Olympia show.

| 2011-03-09 Johnnie Jackson has announced to participate at the Australian GP. He want to get the qualification for the Mr. Olympia, so he has to continue the spring season.
Unfortunately Roelly Winklaar will skip the Australian Grand Prix and wants to concentrate on the European shows. According to the news he had some health problems at the Arnold Classic that is why his shape was not the best. The last competition will be the New York Pro for him.
So we still have to wait for the final list of competitors at the Australian Grand Prix. |
2011-03-08 According to the recent statements it can be concluded that Victor Martinez and Evan Centopani will skip the Australian Grand Prix. Previously, both were told the organizers that would like to participate in the Australian race, but Victor has not promised anything for granted because he did not have a visa, and Evan's partizipation was dependent on his results at Arnold Classic and Flex Pro. Since they both said that they can be seen next time at the Mr. Olympia, they seem to skip this weekend's race - even though this would be a good chance any of them for a victory, because of the newfound Arnold champion, Branch Warren won't be there in Australia and Dennis Wolf, does not seem to be inaccessible based on his shape on the past weekend. | 2011-03-08 Dexter Jackson seems to cancel the spring season! Dexter said a few weeks ago to participate the Flex Pro and the Arnold Classic, and after taking part in the Australian Grand Prix,he can be seen at the British Grand Prix as well in April and also at Germany FIBO Power Pro-n, but so far, he changed his mind after his disappointing results. It's unfortunate, because "the blade" could raise the mood at the European competitions, even though that he is not in his best form, but he obviously was not satisfied, so he wants to focus on the preparation for the autumn. |
2011-03-08 Alexey Lesukov won't stop after winning the amateur Arnold Classic! Alexey won the Arnold amateur bodybuilding competition in heavyweight category, but couldn't get the absolute title. The Russian talent, however, according to the news wants to become a pro, so he will continue to refine the shape, and be on stage next April in St. Petersburg Championship, and then travels to the FIBO, then the Russian national championships, finally, the IFBB European Championships, where the overall winner will receive a pro card - at which he has a serious chance to win. | 2011-03-07 Toney Freeman was cleared of a charge because of his visit in December in Sweden! The X-man admitted the anabolic steroid use which he said to be prescribed by the doctor and also admitted consuming marijuana in Holland one day before. The doping violation by the police therefore could not be used against him, and now cleared of the charge of drug use, since it is consumed in the Netherlands, where it does not conflict with the law. |
2011-03-06 Branch Warren made his dream come true and won The 2011 Arnold Classic without any serious rival. He had a brutal weight with brutal condition and as usual he could also take home the prize for the most muscular competitor.
Dennis Wolf won the second place with a great physique although he became flat to the end of the competition. That is a regular problem for him for which he has to find a solution to be able to win. Dennis won the prize for the best posing.
Victor Martinez can be happy to start working with Oscar Ardon. Victor received the 3rd place and with a bit greater condition he could also have been the winner with his huge weight.
Results:
1. Branch Warren
2. Dennis Wolf
3. Victor Martinez
4. Evan Centopani
5. Dexter Jackson
6. Ronny Rockel
7. Johnnie Jackson
8. Roelly Winklaar
9. Toney Freeman
10. Ben Pakulski
11. Sergey Shelestov
12. Fouad Abiad
13. Essa Obaid
14. Robert Piotrkowicz
| 2011-03-05 Phil Heath and Jay Cutler also appeared at the Arnold Sportsfestival Expo, where they showed some common poses for the fans. As they both have the same sponsor, they could pose side by side. It was surprising that Heath was amazing in shape beside Jay. He didn't seem smaller at all. So hopefully we are going to see a great battle in September at the Mr. Olympia between them.
Watch the video Toney Freeman has announced which competitions he participates in the spring season. Of course he promised his best shape ever. Toney disappeared from the public since his arrest last December. This action caused him a lot of serious problems, e.g. he has to prepare without a sponsor. But this fact won't stop him and we will see him on stage at the Arnold Classic, British Grand Prix, Fibo Power Pro Champions, Mr. Europe Pro, and in the autumn season he participates Mr. Olympia and Fibo Power USA as well. | 2011-03-03 Kai Greene has officially announced which competition he participates next time. As we got the news and pictures about him, it seemed to be sure that he skips the whole spring season, although he was only the 7th at the 2010 Mr. Olympia show, and only the first 6 gets the automatic invitation for the next-year-show. Kai seemed to be out of shape but now he announced that he will participate the New York Pro in May. He didn't comment the news about changing trainer but according to some background information, he now prepares with George Farrah, who did magic with Branch Warren in the last years. |
2011-03-03 Jay Cutler has started training again 2 months ago, but the monster is already 136 kgs. And his lower back muscles are still ultra ripped. He has a good chance to be in the best shape ever at the 2011 Mr. Olympia. | 2011-03-03 Live webcast from the Arnold Classic 2011 will be available here |
